April 26, 2002 A little Nancy Sinatra? Not quite.... Odd CD purchase of the day: "Boots" single by KMFDM. Yes, the industrial German band takes on the classic Nancy Sinatra tune "These Boots are Made for Walking" in a track that is only available as a single; it cannot be found on any full-length album. I have to say I have not been very impressed by KMFDM over the last few years; in fact the last time I listened to them was in 1992. But the "Boots" single was at a Tower Record listening station and trust me, this one is a must have for any fan of industrial music. The humor factor alone is worth the $4.99. posted by DJOktober at 10:52 PM | link this post! | Comments []
Excuse me. I thought she retired. Retired. In fact, I thought she retired twice. Wasn't one comeback enough? And now I am seeing all these promos for a "comeback special" on abc or cbs or some shit? Please Celine. I beg you. Next time you say you are "retiring", go away for good.
