Pam's tattoos were done by Mario Bell, at California Emporium of Tattoos in Hedersonville, NC. He doesn't have a website, but if you like Pam's work, look him up and check out his shop!

In her own words....

I've wanted a tattoo for a VERY long time. I finally decided what I wanted after hearing of an AWESOME tattoo artist in NC named Mario that does portrait tattoos. The man is incredible! I was amazed when I looked at his work! At that time, for whatever reason, I couldn't get that one yet, so I got the Chinese symbol for Eternity as my first tattoo. I went back 6 months later (God only knows why I waited so long!) and got my portrait tattoo done! I'm still amazed everytime I see it! It took 3 hours to complete and "sit's" on my right shoulder blade. I look at the detail and am amazed that he finished it in only 3 hours. Although my skin was screaming THANK GOD when he was done! :) Now - the reason why I chose this particular tattoo. I've been a Duran fan for 20 years now. John has always been my favorite and this has always been my favorite photo of him! This tattoo has more meaning to me than the fact I'm a John fan. When I look at it, I look back on all of the wonderful friendships I have made over the last 20 years and the unforgettable experiences I have had. I wouldn't trade them for anything. That's what it symbolizes for me. Everyone that looks at it sees a portrait of John Taylor, but when I look at it I can't help but smirk and think these last 20 years have been one helluva ride! :)

[Editor's Note]: Pam got this one signed! Check it out right here.

Also in her own words....

For my first color tattoo, I set out to find something that had bright, vibrant colors. I wasn't really sure which direction to go in, so I started with a point of interest and went from there. I thought: If I go with another Duran related tattoo, what would it be? The first thing that popped into my mind was "Seven and the Ragged Tiger". I always go with my first instinct, so I set out to find the perfect image from that era. After ALOT of searching and no luck, I was just about to give up when I came across a Duran shirt on Ebay (of all places)! This symbol was in the middle of the shirt. I knew that was it! The search was over! So, after a few minor alterations, there you have it! My first color and 2nd Duran tattoo! Now all I have to do is figure out what's next! :)
